Bradford University and Labskin UK are currently recruiting a Skin Scientist to join our innovative Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of Bradford and Labskin UK.

Up to £29k p.a. – Fixed Contract
Based in the Labskin facility at the National Agri-Food Innovation Campus (NAFIC) just outside York, this is a fixed 28-month contract and is funded through Innovate UK and employed by Bradford University.
The chosen candidate will be at the heart of an innovative collaboration between ourselves and academics in the Centre for Skin Sciences and the Pharmaceutical and Experimental Therapeutic group at the University of Bradford.
Our Labskin platform is used widely by researchers in industry and academia. This collaboration aims to develop a second-generation human pigmented engineered skin equivalent model that aims to become a “Best in Class” resource for skin care product evaluation.
The ideal candidate will have gained an MSc/PhD and have laboratory experience in cutaneous biology or related research area and will be able to demonstrate strong evidence of cell culture experience and/or tissue engineering and associated techniques.
This is a bespoke and well-funded training and personal development opportunity which will enhance lab-based and management skills and commercial awareness for the right candidate.
