Labskin is delighted to launch a new standard for the beauty industry. The Microbiome-Friendly+ Seal Of Approval certification is now on offer to all Labskin partners and clients. Through extensive Labskin testing, products that maintain the skin microbiome when used for cosmetic purposes may be certified with the Microbiome Friendly+ Seal of Approval stamp.

2022 is the year that we return to conferences in-person. While the space for online webinars will remain important in the industry, there is no comparison to meeting like-minded academics and professionals in a space specifically designed for collaboration and education.

A recent study at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine independently tested Labskin’s full thickness human skin model, further validating our expertise in the skin microbiome. The Jackson Laboratory offer an unbiased comparison of three commercially available human model systems for skin microbiome research applications, in which Labskin comes out on top.

With another new variant of concern from the coronavirus emerging in recent weeks, many in-person events were faced with having to change to a virtual setting. This was the case for Labskin’s latest conference, Microbiome Connect: Skin Europe, which had been scheduled to take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands at the start of December.
