We colonise our unique skin equivalent Labskin, with a mix of resident skin microflora that closely resembles human skin. Then, we apply your product to test its ability to maintain a balanced microflora. In addition, we test for biochemical markers that show the beneficial effect of the product and the microflora on the skin (e.g. Cytokines IL-1α, IL-23)

Microflora Skin -Protect

We colonise our unique skin equivalent Labskin, with a mix of resident skin microflora that closely resembles human skin. Then, we apply your product, followed by a transient pathogen to test the products ability to protect the desirable microflora. In addition, we test for biochemical markers that show the beneficial effect of the product and the microflora on the skin (e.g. Cytokines IL-1α, IL-23)

Microflora Skin -Defence

We colonise our unique skin equivalent Labskin, with a mix of resident skin microflora that closely resembles human skin. Then, we innoculate with a transient pathogen allow to establish then apply your product, to test the products ability to defend the desirable microflora. In addition, we test for chemical markers that show the beneficial effect of the product and the microflora on the skin (e.g. Cytokines IL-1α, IL-23)

Microflora Scalp – Defence
