EU Skin Microbiome Congress 2019 – 13-14 Nov
On November 13th & 14th 2019, the European Skin Microbiome congress will be held in London, UK.
The team from Labskin is proud to attend as a “Thought Leadership” Partner, positioning us as a key partner with a focus on the benefits of Labskin and our Labskin AI technology.
This is the second European iteration of this annual event. Last years conference was a great success with over 250 attendees from more than 160 companies in the beauty, academic, pharmaceutical and personal care sectors. This makes it an ideal event to network with peers and prospects, discussing their requirements and explaining our solutions.
This year’s congress highlights the push for innovation in the skincare market, with approximately €2.35billion spent on R&D in Europe in the last two years. The Skin Microbiome continues to be one of the biggest skincare trends and the congress takes a “..dual-track, data-focused..” approach this year.
The Data-Track aspect of the congress will be focusing on the hard data that supports and legitimises product data and research claims while encouraging an increased and shared understanding of the microbiome.
The Commercial-Track aspect will approach the challenges faced when entering and sustaining a successful skin microbiome company. It aims to help optimise the supply chain and create and execute a successful communication strategy.
The attendees for the conference are expected to incorporate a large proportion of skincare brands and biotech companies, with multinational pharmaceutical and beauty care companies also to be in attendance. The conference takes place over two days, covering presentations and 15 hours of networking.
If you would like to arrange a meet up at the conference please fill in the form below. Members of the Labskin team will be available to discuss how our technology can speed up the testing element of product development, reducing the cost of pre-clinical trials and supporting and speeding up new product R&D.
Speakers over the two days are from companies such L’Oreal, L’Occitane, Biomx, Gallinee & Unilever, amongst others, and also feature senior academics from The University of Manchester, Ghent University and University of York and elsewhere.
With companies and brands such as Coty, Johnson & Johnson, Revlon, Esse, and the Nestle Institute attending last years’ congress, Labskin looks forward to bringing our knowledge and technology to the leaders in the skin microbiome development area.
